Randall Ray Joseph is a reclusive mountain man who has been convicted of a child’s brutal murder. He is sentenced to life in prison but the victim’s family thinks that’s not enough.
Full Synopsis
Randall must find a way to battle his inner demons while at the same time surviving one of the most brutal prisons in the country. The only thing that eases his pain is a stack of letters from a mysterious woman going by the name of Lisa Anderson.
After corresponding for several months with Lisa, as surprising as it may seem, Randall has found something that had eluded him for many years: love. With the help from someone on the inside, the two devise and execute a daring escape and a rendezvous with each other.
Randall is then surprised when he meets Lisa for she isn’t who she says she is. She turns out to be the mother of the young girl he was convicted of murdering.
The Brown Family takes Randall back in their home in the woods to serve their own mountain justice. While held captive, old hazy memories surface and for the first time, Randall believes that he might not have been the one who committed the heinous crime.
Randall must find a way to prove his innocence before the anniversary of the child’s death because that’s when the mountain justice will be served. With time running out, he escapes the clutches of his captors. But he still needs to find a way to prove his innocence before it’s too late.
