Ritchie originally hails from North Wilkesboro, NC.  He attended West Wilkes High School where he was named Mr. West High in 1988.  Then he went on to college and became Student Body President.  After college, he moved to Myrtle Beach, SC where he became the Entertainment Director for one of the largest night clubs on the East Coast.

Ritchie’s passion for entertainment transitioned from live entertainment into filmmaking.  He then opened a production company in Wilmington, NC with his partner Terry Bowden where they wrote, produced, and directed a teaser trailer for Fast.  This film was picked out of hundreds as one of the top projects on JuntoBox Films, which is a Forest Whitaker venture.

In 2009, Ritchie moved to Los Angeles, CA and quickly became a part of the film community.  He teamed up with a writing partner, Bob Lee Dysinger, and started creating highly marketable and crowd-pleasing stories.

Ritchie has just completed his 14th screenplay and two of his epic stories are being turned into novels which will be available in 2014.  In addition, he is currently working on three other films that are sure to garner worldwide acclaim.

Ritchie is also a hardcore Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  So times have been tough but he stands by his team like he does his screenplays.  Because it’s really not about winning or losing;  it’s about the love of the game.
